The Vicar's Letter - 23/06/2024

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I was moved by the surprise lunch you provided last Sunday to celebrate 10 years of my ordained ministry. It was really special, as it brought me joy and affirmed my ministry as I continue to learn and grow in the service. Thank you to those who organised it and all who attended. You are such an integral part of my ministry; may God bless you as we continue to journey together. I want us to know that Jesus is with us in all turns of life, and we have witnessed his presence in stormy times. His love and presence drown out our everyday challenges. The gospel tells us that “Jesus woke up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace! Be still!’ (Mark 4:39) Let us pray for each other as we continue to serve him so that the lives of others may be transformed. May your Kingdom come and your will be done in this parish.

Amen.

Rev. Jairo Nyaongo
